Business Networking

Our networking programs offer quality speakers on topics that matter. Every month we host at least one high level networking event featuring speakers from across the worlds of business, politics and academia. Breakfasts (taking place in the spring and fall) are hosted by our corporate partners in Boston's Financial District while our evening program is generally held at the Back Bay Hotel in Boston's Back Bay on the first Wednesday of the month. Our events focus on various industry verticals including Life Sciences, Financial Services, Information Technology, Social Networking etc. Past speakers include Frank Reynolds, CEO Invivo Therapeutics; Massachusetts Lt. Governor Timothy Murray; Middle East Peace Envoy and renowned Journalist Padraig O'Malley; Boston Police Commissioner Kathleen O'Toole and Fortune Group President Frank Casey.

For details and registration on upcoming events please see our calendar.

Mentoring

With our network comes a wealth or experience. Many of our members are successful established business owners and executives who have seen many changes and faced many challenges in the past. For those who may be starting a new venture or members who are dealing with difficult circumstances previously not experienced our mentors can give direction and assistance to help navigate trouble and take advantage of opportunity.

Trade Missions

BIBA gives unparalleled access to business leaders in both Ireland (the gateway to Europe) and Boston (the Gateway to New England.) Our annual missions visit Ireland's largest cities including Belfast, Derry and Dublin. We provide reciprocal support for incoming trade delegations visiting from Ireland both North and South solidifying the relationships established and driving deals on both sides of the Atlantic.

Community Involvement

As a non profit organization, BIBA prides itself on its support for some excellent causes within the Boston and Massachusetts area. Our keynote annual event, the Emerald Award and Gala Ball raises money for our partner charity, Special Olympics Massachusetts while honoring those in the Irish American community who tirelessly work to build a better Boston and a better Ireland. It is a tradition of which we are very proud.
